Why we collect information
We process information for legitimate business purposes, which include some or all of the following, to:

Visitors to our Website
When someone visits www.pcrconnected.co.uk we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to monitor trends on the performance of our website.
To provide an interactive, useful and reliable browsing experience, we use third party suppliers who may set small files known as cookies. These place small amounts of information on your device, for example, your computer or mobile phone. They cannot however be used to identify you personally.

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. Once you have used these links to leave our site, we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.
We use a third-party provider, Constant Contact, to deliver our email marketing and quarterly newsletters. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks to help us monitor and improve our communications. For more information, please refer to Constant Contact’s privacy statement.
All conversations conducted on any of our accounts/profiles on a public social media platform will be housed within that platform. If possible or applicable we will reply via that platform. We do not save or utilise the contact details of social media interactions for any other purpose unless indicated by the contact/message directly.
People who Email Us
We use Mimecast to encrypt and protect email traffic. We will also monitor any emails sent to us, including file attachments, for viruses or malicious software.
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
Data Storage and Retention
All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.
The personal information you provide us is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes it was collected, taking into account our need to comply with contractual obligations, resolve customer service issues, comply with legal requirements and provide new or improved services to users.
Controlling your Personal Information
We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we are required by law to do so. You may request to access, update, correct, change, or delete your Personal Information at any time.
PCR Connected will use reasonable efforts to timely update and/or remove information. To access, change, or delete your Personal Information, to ask questions or to raise concerns, please get in touch via our Contact page.
Any items of electronic marketing we send you (for example email newsletters) will contain a clear “unsubscribe” link.
Reporting a Breach of Personal Information
PCR Connected is required by law to report any security breaches involving personal data to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
The ICO provide an online form for this purpose, which in the event of a breach of Personal Information security will be completed by us. They use the data collected by the form to record the breach, to make decisions about the action they may take, and as relevant in order to carry out those actions. The ICO retain personal information only for as long as necessary to carry out these functions, and in line with their own retention schedule.
